Why We Are Kings

I've realized in my lifetime Dr. King's Dream. He wanted people to live in harmony without worrying about diversity, race, gender, or any discriminatory issues. Some of us understand the concepts, while others fail to escape ignorance.

The more I think about it, that dream is the result of the ultimate sacrifice by the black man in America. I have to remind my people that we are kings for more reasons than one...

We Are Kings, because we survived one of the most depressing times in America...

We Are Kings, because we are the reason why this country now supports diversity, because we all know that Whites arrived and had a different plan in the beginning, but only embraced change once we gained our freedom...

We Are Kings, because we paved the way for the term 'Minority', because without the struggle of the Afro-American, there would be no diversity in this country.

We must remember that our struggle and triumph has molded the current foundation of our country.

For that, I say We Are Kings...
