Ever had that goal in mind? That one goal that'll change your life? Make you feel accomplished? Put you above cloud 9?
Ever wondered how to get that dream? Ever wondered what it takes to get to that plateau? Ever wonder about the sacrifice that it may cost?
Plenty of questions to ponder on, but only one consistent response that touches all questions...
Focus beyond belief it where it starts, and some may say tunnel vision is a bad thing to have....
There is a flipside to that coin though.
Tunnel Vision is a state where interference is non-existent and the mind is in sync with the item of focus. Nothing else matters, or exist in this state of mind.
Take that approach with your pursuit of your dreams, nothing else should matter during the chase. Whether it's a job, health, self-improvement, and of course fitness, you have to remain locked in on the goal for the best results. Tunnel Vision, refered to as the state of mind of being focused on one subject in the moment.
Tunnel Vision, your key to success when you want something bad enough. You do what it takes to obtain your goals...

Video Games: The Solution to keeping kids off the street
This has always been a interesting subject to me. Video gaming, and how it affect many aspects of your life beyond your couch potato skills. There's a huge misconception in society that video games influence the mind negatively, provokes thoughts to be violent, leads to being overweight, and corrodes your brain cells. Don't tell me that, as I will debate those opnions until your can't breathe or your blood pressure goes through the roof. As I was growing up, I'd say I was a "heavy gamer". I was the kid that had sleepovers where we'd stay up til 7am playing video games all nights. From mini-tournaments, to endless shootouts, wresting matches, you name it.
For me, it began with the NES as a youngster, starting off with the simplest games ever like Super Mario Bros., Punchout, and the first live shooter Duck Hunt (before all this stiff with the Wii existed...lol). Then the Sega and Super Nintendo got popular, and I was all for Sega Genesis. Sonic the Hedgehog 1,2, and 3. I even had some of the sequels to those. At that stage is where being outside with friends became more risky than playing games in the backyards and frontyards.
When the N64 hit the scene, mulitplayer was changed forever. With 1st person shooters taking off at a crazy rate, this created a new brand of recreational activities for youngsters, families and friends. For me, that meant tournaments, sleepovers, weekends fill with gaming. This direction keep my mind from wandering in the wrong direction. What's crazy in my personal life is others who were forbidden to play during certain times or who had some crazy stipulation took other routes in life. So when you think that it's doing harm to kids by them playing games, remember that others elements aren't being planted in the mind as well. Grant it it's not quite the healthiest of directions, but it's not as harmful as most people will make it to be. Better to shoot someone in virtual reality versus shooting someone in real life... Remember Grand Theft Auto...

Why We Are Kings
I've realized in my lifetime Dr. King's Dream. He wanted people to live in harmony without worrying about diversity, race, gender, or any discriminatory issues. Some of us understand the concepts, while others fail to escape ignorance.
The more I think about it, that dream is the result of the ultimate sacrifice by the black man in America. I have to remind my people that we are kings for more reasons than one...
We Are Kings, because we survived one of the most depressing times in America...
We Are Kings, because we are the reason why this country now supports diversity, because we all know that Whites arrived and had a different plan in the beginning, but only embraced change once we gained our freedom...
We Are Kings, because we paved the way for the term 'Minority', because without the struggle of the Afro-American, there would be no diversity in this country.
We must remember that our struggle and triumph has molded the current foundation of our country.
For that, I say We Are Kings...

Budding Romance vs. Young Love
Coming into this year, I had some big ambitions on settling down. As of today, I have stuck to my goals of also being patient. I feel that people should do a lot of homework and studying on people before making that commitment. As this should help the case, it's not always that easy either...
Time and flow always sets the pace when your in that "Budding" stage. You know, when everything is fresh, the phone conversations are (lengthy yet frequent...lol) always fun times. This is where you set the stage of how the tale will follow.
The representative meet, everything's fresh. Green pastures is all that you see in immediate sight. You travel the highway, moving along, sharing secrets, opening up and repeating protocols. Discovery is often.
That is budding romance.
Young Love?
Ongoing passion, realization of chase for love.
